The Voynich Manuscript has been called “The Most Mysterious Book in the World” by just about every major news organization on the planet. At the Beinecke Rare Book Library of Yale, if you have the proper credentials, you can request to see this most extraordinary manuscript. 230 pages full of illustrations of flora, fauna, women and celestial phenomena accompanied by a baffling commentary in a unique language. Known as MS (manuscript) 408 at Yale or MS 461 at the British Museum (which owns a complete copy), it is commonly referred to as the Voynich Manuscript.
